trying to complete the diamond challenges is too frustrating with all the lag. also, hits between freestyle gates dont seem to register very well due to the lag. Ill spam the keys and it will only register 2 hits. this game is very fun and original but the lag destroys any if that fun. for such a graphically simple game, theres really no excuse for it. hell even the menu system lags to the point of freezing for 5 or 6 seconds at times.

The game is so fun and it doesnt freeze on my ipod, the game is cool and I have most of the diamond GRUVS. Buy it I recommed it!

The game is about a band that has most of its members captured by a character who doesnt like their music. You play Mevo - a single eyed dancing character who will travel through stages in order to free his friends. The goal is to press either the left or right on-screen arrows as your Mevo avatar passes by the notes. Its very similar in concept to Tap Tap Revenge/Guitar Hero/Dance Dance Revolution/Rock Band, with the difference that each song is played on a 2D side-scrolling level. Pros: - Successfully integrated 2D horizontal platforming and the music tapping genre - Highly infectious electonic, upbeat and funky tunes - Addictive, challenging gameplay - power-ups keeps your groove going - 3 difficulty levels helps extend replayability - customizable avatars - right price for the current amount of content Cons: - 5 stages only, game could be over in 2hours - music isnt as polished as with other games in the music genre - minimal delay when you hit a note and when it registers the tune, you have to clear your iphones memory to avoid slowdowns - Level design could be better

Mevo is an entertaining music platformer wuth funkey beats and cool powerups. Enough said.

Simple, quick, and groovy gameplay

(update) after 10+ delets and reinstalls i finally got the updated version to work on my phone, this is a duper fun intersession type game(fun to play in short burst even if youve already beatin it) but still minus 1star for the laggyness, and the fact that the game cheats "i swear i hit that arrow!" Yes this is easily the best taping game in the store and arguably in the top 10 all time. But Why I say dont buy is because the game with the new update has broken it for the most part, nothing works as far as any new features said update had, no new levels, no freeplay/ style, no grove chains, and the last two levels of the previouse version dont show youve beatin them even when you have, there is no more difficulty settings easy is the only option, the game glitches a good 30% of the time knocking you off rythem, so its not worth the hassel till the devs fix all the bugs, I dont know what the other revs are talking about, because this version seems like some type of broken beta, Ive deleted and reinstalled the game twice hard reset and still no dice, the game is broken, the game is broken, please fix this dev/devs, because the game is garbage right now, but the five is for what the previouse version was, and with apple moving so slow any update will be along time Coming, so dont even bother waisting you cash. Everytime something comes out that makes me question getting the pspgo, something like this happens to make me question it less, I am getting so sick and tired of incomplete games, negligence, and promised updates that should have never been an issue to begin with, and now this, the fear of updates ruining the game to borderline unplayable, if I had known Id never have updated, cause these devs are never going to fix this who am I kidding, half the updates Ive ever got bought new bugs, the functional quality of the AppStore apps is ridiculous, you can count the apps on one hand that has absolutly no stability/ function issues excluding the bigtimers like EA and the like that just put out poo games for the most part, but they work flawlessly if you like playing with stuff like that.

I got this game a long time ago when it was on the top FREE and now I get the email informing me it was accually 99c. Id sue but its only a dollar and it would be kinda hard to get millions of that one dollar. None the less DONT BUY THIS APP. Dont support swindlers

I had this for my comp and there was so many levels, this has to be free until there is like a scrolling page with all the levels like the comp, dont buy until it does have them

I regret buying this. Its just way too boring. It needs to be at least 5 times as difficult and about ten times as long. The whole "platforming" thing is a joke- its more annoying than entertaining. The music is terrible and far from catchy. Dont get me wrong; I normally love music games, but even tap-tap and World of Tunes do a better job. I bought this game due to the good reviews and am very disappointed. Its not worth anyones time, and Im really hoping for an update that completely overhauls the crap they have so far.

I thought this game was fun, however way too short. I am not sure I would spend the .99 cents on it if I knew it was so short. I enjoy the idea of it, it is really neat how they incorporated two styles of games. Would like to see more levels.

Gets repetitive very quickly. Lots of loading screens, frame rate could be better in some parts.

Ive been waiting for months for a new update. I guess not that many people ended up buying this game so idkk. Where r all the levels.

I love the game but the songs arent the best and I wish there was a make your own level feature so you could use your own music and choose the arrow pattern other than that this fame is solid

Music sounded like it would be cool but keeps causing my phone to freeze or crash! WTF? whenever something is offered free I should know better!

"Hey, keep giving us those great 5 stars reviews, then well release more levels" LOL... People will rate it 5 stars when more levels are released, not when there are only 5 easy levels... 

This game is really easy to play and understand. Its so addictive... Get it

Ive enjoyed Mevo very much. Getting my groove on is fun. However, I think this new update is a little buggy. When I get to Level 2 Diamond, it stops and the game asks me to Retry: Yes/No. I said yes, played it and it stops again before I get to the end. This has happened on both my iPhone (3.0) and iPod Touch (3.1). Im not sure if this is built into the game where your game is stopped if you dont get enough grooves. I hope not. But because of it, bug or game, I cant move any further. RedRocket, please look into it cos this is too good a game. For now, I give it 3 stars for the fun Ive had so far.
